Iām constantly taking photos.
I want to capture the moments. Not just the birthdays and weddings but the little stuff. The message on the love heart my daughter gave me that made us both giggle. Or the funny little yellow Italian jeep we hired on vacation. Thomas, our cheeky elf on the shelf.
As a gift to my husband, I made six 20-inch fames each with 36 mini prints. I included the little moments. And the big moments. Old photos of our parents as kids with their parents. My husband as a toddler sitting on his doorstep in England. The beautiful Tuscan village where my sister-in-law lives. My school photo from 1985. The result was a quirky collage of everything us. Visitors would spend an age poring over these frames in our hallway. People wanted to commission me.
And that's how it started.
